Alexandra Strobel was born in Essex Junction, Vermont. For the last 13 years she has called Albuquerque, New Mexico, her home. She is a multimedia artist with an emphasis on drawing and mixed media collage. During her undergrad studies at the Art Center Design College she developed a better understanding for Pop culture appropriation and how it is applied within a fine arts context. Ms. Strobel has adopted this method, while also using a bright palette and witty imagery to create her work. Today she is actively working and exhibiting in Albuquerque.
